HNF series Horizontal Canned Motor Chemical Centrifugal Pump

Overview 
HNF series Horizontal/Vertical Canned Motor Chemical Centrifugal Pump for Refrigeration NH3 Liquid Ammonia. The canned motor pump body connects directly with motor front flange, and can transfer low temperature fluid with no granule without leakage.

The Canned Pump is a centrifugal pump, close coupled to a Canned Motor in such a way that there is no dynamic shaft seal, no couplings and no ball bearings. The motor is cooled by the pumped liquid. Bearings are lubricated by the pumped liquid. This eliminates the need for external lubrication. The stator of the driving motor, which is usually three phase squirrel cage induction motor, is hermetically contained in a stator containment that consist of an external frame tube,out board & inboard end plates and the internal cylinder liner. The rotor which is welded on the shaft, is also encapsulated with a non magnetic liner. Both stator liner (Stator Can) and rotor liner (rotor can) are seal welded at both ends, and does not allow any part of the motor to be exposed to external environment or internal pumped liquid.

 

Canned motor pump feature
1.Because transported liquid cannot be leaked outward, it can be applicable for liquid harmful to human body,explosive liquid, inflammable liquid, expensive liquid and corrosive liquid.
2.Because it cannot take in outside gas, it can be applicable for the operation in vacuum system and liquid that spoils
at the contact of outside gas.
3. Because there is no shaft seal, it can be applicable for high pressure system, high melting point liquid, high temperature liquid and low temperature liquid.
4. Because there is no need for lubricant, it cannot pollute transported liquid and it avoids the trouble of oil filling.
5. Because motor and pump body are on the same shaft and integrated as a whole, canned motor pump size has the
advantage of small size and light weight and less area occupation and easy dismantlement for examination.
